The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. Being a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.
