Tehran is willing to resume nuclear discussions with Washington as long as it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi said solely negotiations worked, and disclosed new appeals had come from intermediaries to resume talks with the US government. He claimed Iran possessed no unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for security reasons.

Walking a Difficult Path

Araghchi is treading a difficult path since Iran aims to avoid be seen to be operating from a stance of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had come out more powerful defensively and mentally from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.
